My daughter lives on a golf course in Mequon, WI (north of Milwaukee), and they're still golfing.

Good grief, we are actually under a tornado watch till this afternoon. It feels like May outside. I mean, it's beautiful but it doesn't do a thing to get me in the Christmas spirit.

Definitely winter in Central Washington. This is my 4th winter here and there is more snow and ice this year than the other 3 combined. It didn't snow at all last year and I told myself that the climate must have warmed and snow will be rare here. Unfortunately that was self delusion. I spent most of my life in a warm climate and the snow scares the hell out of me, especially driving in it.

I think it's safe to say that this is my first Christmas Eve in Philly with temps in the 70s.

Normal here in Denver so far, snow from last Tuesday's big storm still mostly hanging around. Had a dusting last night, expecting a White Christmas night at the very worst. Our first below-zero reading should be coming Saturday morning.

Winter so far is sucky. It's hot and humid with temps in the 80s. It should never be in the 80s in December, unless you're in the southern hemisphere. I really hate living in Florida sometimes.

What really grates me are the snowbirds who boast about how wonderful this weather and they assume that us Floridians love it.

It's going to be in the high 60's in Massachusetts today. Definitely not our normal winter weather.
