When making recommendations to other people on where they could live, how close to your home do you actually suggest people look into? Do you only recommend your state, your town, your side of town; or do you go so far to recommend your own neighborhood or even your own street?
I've lived in 15 different states, from New York to California, from Minnesota to Arizona. I've travelled in all 50 states. I've also lived in the very biggest cities, smaller cities, college towns, small towns and rural areas. The only lifestyle I have no experience with is a suburb.
So I feel as though I have a pretty good knowledge of American regional environments and sociocultural conditions.
I recommend places based on what the OP says is his or her wish list or criteria. And I comment on places based on my personal experiences, too!
I think that's why I enjoy reading and posting on CD - I can apply my varied experiences and really feel as though I can offer useful information and opinions based on real life.
