Seattle has a lot of job openings...mostly in the IT industry. So if you don't have an IT specialized degree, it's just any other city to you. The non-IT, non-specialty jobs are extremely competitive because of a never-ending wave of millenials who think it's hip to live in Seattle. It's not shocking to meet minimum wage cashiers and baristas who have master's degrees.

Really I wish that was true . The restaurant I manage its hard to find workers over 18. I manage a Taco Time .
you definitely have to take into the cost of living compared to pay when looking at some of those places. I agree it needs to be broken down by what type of jobs, I doubt orlando are the most high paying from my experience looking there for programming jobs
