I'll go ahead and list mine (and of course all depend on you being in the right part of town):

San Antonio
Nantucket Island (not a city, I realize, but very romantic)
New Orleans
NYC
Las Vegas (it CAN be)
Key West

And in Canada:
Quebec City

I've never been to San Francisco, Savannah, or Charleston, but I've heard they're great, too.

Good thing I am not a betting man because I would thought for sure that one of or both Charleston, SC and New Orleans would have made this list.

Speaking as an Oregonian, Portland can be romantic if you try.

Heck, my boyfriend and I made it romantic enough for our comfort level; street food on the steps in Pioneer Square, pre-concert drinks on the rooftop patio at Departure, and who can forget being solicited for change and then offered a single bud of MJ on the MAX back to the hotel...that just oozes romance

As someone moving to Las Vegas in a couple months, I'd love to hear why you included Las Vegas!

I realize much of Vegas is tacky and gauche, but if you're willing to embrace that for what it is (or to suspend your cynicism for a while), there are many restaurants, shows, pools, and views that could be considered romantic in their own right. It's a prefab, shallow veneer caliber of romance, but charming nonetheless.
