I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here it goes:

What are songs that remind you of certain cities or places in the US? I was listening to some old songs and thought about how they reminded me of different places in the US even if I hadn't been there. I'll give some examples of mine. Some are more obvious than others.

The Heinrich Maneuver (Interpol): Driving around in Los Angeles just before sunset
Let Me Blow Ya Mind (Eve ft. Gwen Stefani): Cruising around Chicago on a sunny day, windows down
Smooth (Santana): Beachfront bars/clubs in Fort Lauderdale/Miami
Suga Suga (Baby Bash): Hanging out on a sunny day in South Central LA (never been to South Central LA, but this song gives off those vibes)
Lowdown (Boz Scaggs): Driving on Lakeshore Drive in Chicago
Shipping up to Boston: Take a wild guess

I'm interested to hear what songs people associate with different places and vice versa.

The one w/ The Eagles, Take It Easy, cuz I did drive through Winslow, Arizona.
Woodstock, cuz I lived 45 minutes from there.
Carolina on My Mind, James Taylor, lived in one of those.
Tons of songs from late 60's-70's remind me of Upstate NY, know where I was/what I was doing at the time even when a song played in the 70's. Once the 80's came, I don't remember any songs connected to there.
Shawn Colvin songs, reminds me of Lenox, Massachusetts, Tanglewood. She sang there, but in between or afterher songs she was sitting in the same row as me. This was in the early 90's. She wasn't that well known.
