Lol I'm shocked at some of the responses.

I just met someone who's moving
to this lame city from Nashville!
Omg not a good idea
This place is overrated.

My other dream places......

Raleigh
Charleston
Cheyenne

And Sundance Utah for some reason-
I think I'd do well there

I don't think I'd ever want to permanently leave Texas, but if I did, I think I would want to move to Seattle/Portland, or the smaller Northeastern states.

Sometimes I'm in the mood to move to Hawai'i.

Phoenix AZ. HOME !
Summer time year round. The most unique place on the planet. Mentally refreshing every day. And only a person who's lived a full life understand the importance of that.

Winner: Charlotte. It's where we live. It's home and love it. We're never bored. Best people on Earth, love the weather, able to own our own home in a nice neighborhood, lots of day trip opportunities, and family nearby. Mountains and beaches aren't very far away. Don't plan on leaving. But if we did, there would be only 2 other places we'd consider. We've visited these areas enough over the decades that we know we would love living in them.

Charleston, SC: Beautiful, clean, great beaches, flowers/Spanish moss oaks, friendly people, affordable, love the history and architecture, great food.

Orlando, FL: We are theme park nuts, so we love it here, lol. The areas of Orlando north of the FL Turnpike are away from the tourist areas. Really beautiful neighborhoods, lots of lakes, and a nice downtown. Affordable.

Great thread. I've enjoyed reading everyone's responses. It's cool to read those where people are happy where they're living now. You don't see much of that these days.
