I'm in CO and for such a beautiful state we have one of the worst state fairs.

Looking to visit other state fairs. Top 3 in no particular order seems to be TX, IA, and MN.

Thoughts?

NC has a very nice fair... TX fair is super expensive.

I'd imagine the California state fair would be amazing

I would have ranked MN and then IA. Honestly I can't think of any other that's quite as compelling, but I'm not familiar with TX.

If you want something completely different there's the Oregon Country Fair, but it's more like a hippie renaissance faire than a state fair.

TBH our state fair would probably be better if it were in Denver instead of Pueblo.

I wouldn't want it in Denver. A smaller city but Pueblo is a dump. Mountain towns don't have infrastructure and hotels to accommodate. Would have to be a front range city

It's been a while but I don't recall it being anything that amazing or special. The San Diego County fair outdraws it for attendance.

Kansas and Nebraska are neighbors with their fairs among the best in my opinion.

Don't get the Minnesotans started on their state fair.
