Football is the dominate sport in all of PA I don't care if your Stillers or Iggles... I love my Stillers but damn it can be overload. I do think Dallas and TX as whole reigns supreme in Fandom of Football.
Yeah, I think it is right between Dallas and Miami, with Pittsburgh next. Football is big at all levels and each area has produced high level talent for decades.
The Bay Area is a sleeper as it has one of the best HS Football programs in the country, De La Salle, good/solid college programs and a couple of pro teams with good histories and fans.
In the NYC area, the NJ portion of the metro actually has one of the best HS leagues in the country in regards to the NE NJ Catholic programs(Don Bosco, Bergen Catholic, Paramus Catholic, St. Joe's of Montvale, St. Peter's of Jersey City, etc.). Of course the pro teams have a good following, but college football support is split up pretty good.
Cleveland and Cincinnati deserve a mention. Both have good HS programs(Cincinnati Catholic League is pretty good, as well as city school Withrow and Cleveland has nationally relevant St. Edward's and St. Ignatius, along with Cleveland City program Glenville, among others for both areas). Both of course have a big Ohio State fan base, with UC also having a big base in Cincinnati. Both also have loyal fan bases for their pro teams as well.

Eh, the whole Packers ownership thing is kind of a scam. You don't really get anything for owning a piece of the team. It's basically a glorified fan club with an entry fee.
Cincinnati doesnt deserve a mention. The support for the Bengals is not strong compared to many other cities.
Right, Cincy is more of a baseball town, while the Browns are king in Cleveland. Oakland is a football town more than SF, which is a better baseball town. Buffalo deserves a mention too. But I agree nowhere compared to Dallas and Texas in general.

Yeah, I thought about Buffalo in terms of support for the Bills. HS Football is solid/decent, depending upon the school(the Catholic schools, Sweet Home, Orchard Park, Lackawanna, Cleveland Hill, Cheektowaga Central, Alden, Buffalo City schools Bennett and South Park; Jamestown, etc). University of Buffalo gets some support, but is still a pretty recent D1 program(about 20 years old).
