Also.

PA and NJ
NY and NJ
DC and VA
DC and MD

All have subways that cross the borders of the states or districts in the case of DC

The adjacent former rail bridge to that one is the Appalachian Trail, so you could get nearly the same view at a pedestrian pace.

Any time I am leaving a southern or midwestern state to go to a better part of the country, it's a good border crossing.

From Kentucky into Ohio along I-71. You're essentially driving through dime-a-dozen suburbia, and then you turn a corner to find yourself at the edge of a beautiful wooded bluff with the Cincinnati skyline in front of you. As you drive down the bluff, you feel like you're on a descending aircraft, and then you're in Ohio.

The Hoover Dam crossing between Arizona and Nevada is memorable and very unique. Half the year it's also a time-zone crossing as well.

Montana crossing into Idaho on I-15 at Monida Pass (elevation 6,820 ft)

Then an amazing view descending from top of the pass, from the vast Idaho plain
all the way to the Tetons over in Wyoming.
