SF always makes these lists because it assumes that because there are higher paying jobs you'll somehow land one and the high COL will cancel out.

List is all over the place. Many things can change based on what you're looking at and how you're weighting them.

At least Fresno wasn't on the list this time around.

Maybe they are thinking that those at Texas Tech will stay in Lubbock and the beach life in Corpus Christi may attract some. I don't know.....

the list is partly based on the number of young people already in those cities.
