Safe, by this super forum I have found a city that can give me my hope that is ATLANTA ( a city for living and working + reasonable cost of living don’t pricey ) but this city have a very hot summer , I can’t support a hot summer + haven’t a ocean face like beaches ) then my questions is :

Is there any city in USA like ATLANTA? But:

1- I can’t support a very hot summer or very cold winter

2- I would like a studio with 1 bedroom 500 dollar per month all time (I don’t like share with another roommate)

3- Jobs opportunities

Can I find my hope in usa (dreams of America)??!!

I also found a nice city by this forum the city is San Diego I liked very maths this city because have a type American + very very very nice weather but I think San Diego is very expensive another question :

San Diego is very expensive like Chicago or Boston? Can I find a studio 1 bed with 600 dollar per month all time?

Thanks in advance any suggestions or advices can be helpful

You will not find a 1 bedroom studio in a big city for less than $1000.
Try Washington D.C., Seattle, and Denver. It might be possible and they are not as hot as Atlanta. San Diego is WAY too expensive!

A studio in San Diego will cost around 1300 a month in a rough (meaning an area unsafe at certain times) area. DC costs the same as San Diego. Atlanta may be your best bet.

St. Louis has 1BR apartments for $500-$600/month, but St. Louis gets very hot and very cold, so it wouldn't meet those qualifications. Southern California is warm all year, but expensive.

I can't really think of an inexpensive area that doesn't get either really hot or really cold, or both.

This isn't true. I know plenty of people who have studios for under 1000 bucks. I live in Chicago in a one bedroom that could easily be two bedrooms (I also have a dining room/office) and pay under 1000 bucks.

500 would be pushing it, but I know people who do it for 6-700 bucks.

st. louis sounds like a good fit for your price and weather likes/dislikes.

Danny,

You steered the OP to the wrong city if he's looking for a place in DC for a $1,000 bucks. DC is very expensive sorry to say.

It's probably too hot, though. And it gets really cold.

I love the city, but weatherwise it can be rough.

Honestly, if you want to live comfortably in a safe area...DC, San Diego, Seattle, and Chicago are all probably too expensive. Additionally, Chicago may not be doable anyway, because of the brutally cold winters.

Saint Louis could work.

Denver would probably be the best bet, weather wise. It's very moderate. But the city itself is expensive. You could try the other areas of CO...maybe around Colorado Springs?
