As a gay male myself who has traveled much of the country I would say cities like Denver, Dallas and Chicago have stood out as being much more masculine overall.

I'd second Chicago, there are lots of masculine gay men in the city, but they tend to be more in the bear category. Also, I remember Cincinnati having a lot of masculine gay men.

Forget NYC, the fashion, media, & theater industries tend to attract a lot of feminine gay men. I have a theory that feminine gay men are naturally more artistic than the general population, but just my theory.

And they're also quite short on average which is kind of a buzzkill for me. Definitely lacking in the strapping All-American type which is unfortunate...

Places where the overall culture tends to be more conservative and therefore forces gay men to be more discreet. Oklahoma City is a perfect example. Get on Grindr and probably over half the guys don't have face pics.

Is liam95 looking for a hot looking masculine gay man for a partner?

Again this is like asking " which kitten looks male"?

I have been around long enough to know there are masculine gay men and feminine gay men.

Which area has the most? Open purely to your interpretation of " masculinity ". Do you mean "straight acting"????

A man is masculine as far as I am concern simply as a man. Unless a trany, he's masculine. Many have feminine tendencies, may be "in touch with his feminine side" but is still masculine.

What does this even mean? There are masculine gays guys, along with every other combination of sexuality of all genders literally everywhere. Obviously the most populated places would have greater numbers of everything.

Atlanta is a very mixed bag but overall I don't see it as a "masculine gay city" lol. Chicago definitely though.
