In the Bay Area Bellevue reminds me of Foster city more than of Walnut Creek. Busy-ish, kind of nice, but also a bit soulless.

Though Buckhead is a part of the city of Atlanta, it seems Bellevue and Buckhead may be comparable with Bellevue being a bit more urban.

Good example. More similarities than differences.

Buckhead, in Atlanta is the closest to Bellevue that I can find. But when comparing downtown Seattle to downtown Atlanta, Seattle is more impressive. Yes, Atlanta has a "mid-town", but even when combined with DT ATL, it doesn't match Seattle here in late 2017. Bellevue and Buckhead are good competitors, however.

Atlanta is making great strides to become more pedestrian friendly. I've lived in much bigger cities and was still impressed with Atlanta when I first came here given the context and history in which the city grew. I'm even more impressed with all the projects happening here. There is so much to get excited about. Even Buckhead is opening itself up to mutliple modes of transportation.

Cambridge, MA is the closest thing you'll find. Cambridge is a bit more urban, but everything else is almost identical. Tech hub, affluent, expensive. Cambridge is more cultural- food, shops, etc.- but having lived in both areas, they share a lot of similarities.

I've heard from friends that Salt Lake City feels like a slightly bigger Bellevue.

Cambridge is way more urban and historical. It is more like Berkeley, CA than Bellevue

Bellevue is sleek, new and suburban.

While Boise, ID is it's own city, I'd imagine that they might feel similar. Both cities have a small-ish urban footprint, with sprawling suburban zones beyond downtown. Obviously, there is no city like Seattle near Boise.
