As do we, Buckhead is the City. And who gives a damn if Hilton is HQ'd there, it obviously hasn't improved the local hotel scene. Tysons simply doesn't have the demand nor the market for so many luxury hotels, while Buckhead does.

Nothing but pure local puff pieces, and proves nothing. Check out how JLL & CBRE define your precious '12th largest Business District.' They include office space in Reston and all of the Dulles Tollway corridor as well, LOLOLOL!!! That's more inflated than the typical D.C. ego, and hardly presents an accurate picture at all.

LOLOL! More pure garbage. Sperlings claims the population of Buckhead as 171, and declining! Zero credibility, and quite the stretch to use this garbage - even for you. You have stooped to lies about Atlanta again, using stats for Buckhead Georgia.

Next.

They aren't comparable, at all. The only thing they have in common is large shopping malls, Tysons is literally years behind Buckhead whether you can wrap you head around it or not.

You agenda has been exposed, yet again. Major fail, on all points.
Sophomoric debate team captain?

Oh please... wiki has Buckhead as being wealthier.. did you not check before trying to make a sly remark? I'll stick with the census.

Agreed! (As seen above)

DC has the worst suburbs out of the four major Northeast cities.
I actually like Boston's suburbs the most in this comparison- But awfully similar to Philadelphia (main line vs. metrowest), and Northern NJ. Call me a homer, but I'll take Eastern MA over CT/Hudson Valley for sure.

I definitely prefer the coastal suburbs of Boston vs. Long Island, but I do get both sides of the argument. I like Newburyport more than, say, a Jericho or Stony Brook. I prefer Hingham to a Syosset. Marblehead stands alone vs. LI in my opinion. Once you add places like Weston, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Lexington, Winchester, Wellesley, Concord, Newton, Weston, etc. they come out on top vs. the NYC counterparts.

I didn't say they were bad, I was shutting down an ill informed statement. I think Buckhead is a great area, but would I put it with the top suburbs in the nation, no way.

Buckhead Skyline
I don’t think any philly suburb can compete against that combination, I’m not from Atlanta but comparing such an expansive district to the relatively small borders of most suburbs.
To me the top suburbs do not include skylines. They include mains streets and villages with varying architectural styles, a fair amount of walk-ability, well planned communities, unique characteristics and a balance of open land. Buckhead has mansions and high-end shopping, and that clearly does not equal the best suburbs. You can find that in any major metro, but you cannot find the links I posted below in every major metro.

Regardless of Buckhead, the Philadelphia suburbs are far wealthier than the Atlanta suburbs with superior planning, schools, architecture spanning hundreds of years, and open space. You can still find sprawl on the outer fringes of the Philly burbs (and King of Prussia), but thank goodness it is limited and many municipalities have strict development guidelines.

Again, I did NOT say Buckhead and other Atlanta towns aren't nice, they just pale in comparison to the towns villages you see around Philadelphia.

Having lived in both cities, I would compare Buckhead to Alexandria/Arlington and Tyson's Corner to Perimeter Center in terms of overall vibe. The former are more well-rounded communities, the latter are office/retail centers.

Of course you'll stick with the Census, when it fits your agenda.

You're the one that posted a 'fake link' for the wrong Buckhead without checking on it's accuracy. You saw the low income figures you were desperately searching for, and posted it immediately 'to put Atlanta its place' as you live to do. As usual, it backfired badly.

Don't you have like a 100 threads to comb through so that you can make sure Atlanta is part of the conversation, like how you randomly went into a thread that had nothing to do with Atlanta and made sure everyone knew that Atlanta also had Hasidic Jews - most pathetic attempt and best example of you trying to make Atlanta relevant BTW?

You can stick to the Wiki stats if you prefer, I'll still stick with the census. Also, it's been discussed that the 1st link was incorrect... perhaps if you go back and read before making dumb comments, you'd be caught up.
