Idk if any towns would my criteria, but I do think a few towns in AZ that I read about which are border towns aren't like the typical ones. They have strictly a 50/50 ratio of whites and Hispanics. Then again Arizona is very red so not surprised.
Traveling between the two countries by road you will always notice a striking different vibe when crossing the border. i havent seen any city in the U.S that looks like a Mexican town or city.

Right, but people in US border towns will always still feel very isolated.
Yes, I lived in a border town before[Laredo] and so to speak it technically doesn't feel like a Mexican town at all, at least physically.
Not an expert here, but from what I've learned about US cultural geography, most of the area along what is today's US side of the border has had substantial settlements of Hispanic people for centuries. In fact, many where there first!
I will agree, San Diego is likely the most "Murica" of the border towns, then maybe El Paso.
