California, which I am moving to in a couple months! Some pretty good choices, I've loved living here in Washington(moved here a couple years ago), Oregon is also excellent, Hawaii would be fun also! Wouldn't want to move to Texas, if i moved back south I'd probably go back to Fayetteville Arkansas(where I am from) and I don't want to move to New York.

Bay Area, California. If only it weren't so expensive and life wasn't so stressful there.

I live in Oregon so I picked that. I am satisfied with my state.
My second choices would be Texas,or California.

If I could pick any, CA. They have such perfect weather year round, and the beaches are amazing. Plus, excellent food. Every seems really cheerful and happy there too, which is a bonus.
And as a grad school aged student, I can't help but be attracted to CA; they have the best public universities in the country!

Second choice would probably be Texas, due to the amazing job opportunities.

Aside from that, probably anything but NYC. Great city to visit, but I'd hate the constant stressed out vibe that comes with living there.
