Yes, in that case I do agree. And even when you think it's over (December...) it can still heat up to well over 80 now and then.

The entire state of CA is not expensive. But, if you want perfect weather, it will be.

There are smaller towns in the hills/mountains that might fit the bill.

Or you might want to look at southern OR.

I can tell you from personal experience, that 100 degrees will never feel like 70 - dry or humid.
