Maine
-vast, lakes, mountains, forests, and spectacular coast
Vermont
-quaint, gemütlichkeit American style
New Hampshire
-most radical terrain in the Northeast
Rhode Island
-amazingly pleasant coast and New England architecture
Massachussetts
-history, Gloucester, the Berkshires
Connecticut

Overall, CT has a surplus of lovely features, but lacks the superlatives or other standout features of the other NE states, while still managing to be achingly beautiful and historic over much of its terrain.
