I am not asking about street food culture , but more specifically about cities that have something similar to NYC street Gero / halal food carts offering chicken / lamb over rice like the below ?

Detriot has a very large middle eastern population, Boston has a lot of Greeks and Armenians so those two would be a good bet.

You will see that in DC near the Smithsonian museums. Actually, they are more Halal food trucks.

I agree, and in other parts of the city as well including downtown and around GWU/World Bank in Foggy Bottom.

I’ve seen a few in Philly just like the ones in NYC — the generic ones like in your pic above. But none like The Halal Guys on 53rd and 6th

DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore and I'm presuming Boston have them. A lot of the smaller cities in the Northeast have them in the CBD, as well. I'm guessing most major cities have them in any decent sized CBD with foot traffic, at least during business hours.

I agree about Philadelphia , and that most of the cities have food stands in their CBD , but few only will have halal food culture . do you have any idea about the west coast ?
