Unfortunately I haven't taken i-80 any further East than the Quad Cities - I've always taken i-74 from there. But then again when I'm traveling outside of Iowa I'm usually out west. Sorry ahava.
Iowa has hands down the best rest stops I have ever seen.

ahava - if you're looking for a nice little hotel with free internet - check out Hampton. (Previously Hampton Inn) They're really clean, have VERY comfortable beds, good hot breakfast, and of course - internet in every room.
