Albert Einstein's son lived in Greenville SC for awhile while working with Clemson in agricultural research. Albert came to visit and gave lectures at Furman university, which used to be located downtown on the hill next to the waterfall. Another one of his relatives was a student at Furman.

Here is a picture of Albert in Greenville at Furman. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DolfgVCUUAAPp0o.jpg

One of his grandkids died in Greenville and is buried here.

Dallas:

1. It's a driving city, but you don't necessarily need a car
2. Dallas is not just about oil and banking, we have arts and culture
3. You don't see the cowboys riding horses in downtown
4. Dallas has the country's largest urban hardwood forest
5. You can sail a boat within the city limits (White Rock lake)
6. It does get cold in the winter
7. It's not as affordable as you might think (real estate)
8. We're not all Republicans (Dallas is a Democratic city)
9. Longhorns don't roam the city streets and pump jacks are not on every corner
10. We're interested sports other than FOOTBALL (Dallas Mavericks; Texas Rangers; Dallas Stars; FC Dallas; )

Bonus: 11. If you drive 10 miles below posted speed limit, you have a death wish. Traffic light turns Yellow- means go faster.

Clemson is not really in the Greenville metro. It is pushing 1 hour to downtown Gville.

Clemson's MBA program is located in a building on Main Street in Greenville and the Clemson automotive research center CU-ICAR is located in Greenville as well.

BATON ROUGE
1. This is a heavily industrialized area with many refineries and chemical plants and other manufacturing facilities. (We're mainly known for LSU and for being the state capital.) Oil and gas is the biggest contributor to the local economy.

2. This is a cultural crossroads where the traditional Southern, regular American, Cajun, and Creole cultures come together.

3. The LSU Tigers stadium is one of the largest stadiums of any kind in the entire world.

4. Raisin Canes started here

5. Many of the state's most beautiful and popularly visited plantations are in this area

6. This is a major port by gross tonnage and is the most upriver port on the Mississippi accessible to oceangoing ships and many goods are switched to barges to go further upriver

7. We have the worst traffic for a city this size

8. The Louisiana state capitol is the tallest state capitol building in the nation

9. Embarassingly enough Stormy Daniels is from here and has danced in local clubs in her younger years.

10. It DOES get cold here in the winter sometimes

3. Most people don't really believe in voodoo

4. Large numbers of Italians, Irish, and Germans immigrated to NO and influenced the culture beyond the original French, SPanish, African American and Caribbean cultures that are more well known

5. NO has a large Vietnamese American community

6. The Crescent City Connection is the most downriver road crossing of the Mississippi River

7. New Orleans is NOT a Cajun area
