Other than backpacking for a year in Europe and one in Israel I've lived in the Cleveland area all of my 66 years. When you grow up here you tend to have friends all over the US as it seems there are more Clevelanders in the rest of the US than there are in Cleveland. So I have traveled quite extensively throughout this country and also much of the world.

The funny thing is while I know from personal experience that there are more beautiful areas or more vibrant cities for some reason after a week or so I just want to come back home to Cleveland. I guess Dorothy said it best. "There's no place like home."

I have lived my entire life in California, other than five months in Hong Kong, and ten weeks in Idaho and New Orleans each. Will leave California for the Southeast at the first chance, though!

Most people are tied to their jobs and their families.

People spend many years or even decades building their career or business in one location. It becomes impractical for them to move away, take a substantial cut in their income and start all over again.

Sure, it is adventure to immerse yourself in a new language and a new culture. But, the question is - What price are you willing to pay for that experience?
