Curious as to those who have spent most of their lives living in the same city. Also I don't mean city proper, but metro as well. So someone if you grew up LA proper for the first 20 years, then moved to Anaheim, and those are the only two places you have ever lived you would fit the criteria.
if so, what were reasons you have decided to never move? Are you happy with your decision? Any regrets?
Thank GOD I'm not a person who's stayed in the same area for 90% of my life.
I know many people who have though. Most seem unhappy, but that's probably because they're from upstate NY. I know people who were born and raised in Atlanta and Raleigh and they couldn't be happier they never left.

How long have you been living there for? How old are you?
I've lived in Chicago for almost my entire life other than college and nearly a year in Spain. I have traveled all over the US and a good amount outside the country too. I have not found a place in the US I would rather live when all factors are included. I would leave the US for the right opportunity in a heartbeat though.
This thread assumes everyone lives in a large city with a metro. Or, are those the only ones you're interested in?
They don't have to be large. Maybe medium-sized something like Madison, Wisconsin or even La Crosse Wisconsin.
I don't think you want to go too small, because more likely than not, people who lived and were raised in very small cities or towns most likely have moved at some point.
