I know, but I’m thinking in terms of the post you replied to. It made it seem that since the measure was metrowide, that such suburbs skew things up just for DFW and Baltimore, but not for Chicago and Philadelphia. No biggie though…

All I can tell you is that though I absolutely LOVE Virginia and would live anywhere in that state, most of the real estate is a lot more expensive per square foot than around here, an hour and a half from Dallas but in NE Texas (Tyler area). So some site somewhere can claim that our real estate is overpriced but I don't care as long as I can get a decent home for less than I can in Virginia, for example.

By the way, our real estate market here in NE Texas, near but not in the Dallas metro area, is inching upward quite a bit lately. Still not at Dallas metro area prices, or at (for instance) Virginia prices but like everything else, prices are going up up up.
