Does it say how they decided which metro areas to include? I didn't see Jacksonville, Louisville or Richmond, for example.
That's a really good question. I'm not sure why they would have left those out, especially when Virginia, Kentucky, and Florida appear to fair pretty well.
yeah, at first i just assumed it was all metros over 1 million, but it leaves several off (and includes a few that are under, like des moines and omaha).
I wonder if the stats for number of people working in each city include contractors and pushing that a little further— people on H1 VISAs?
