This map is going off a 1 square mile radius. And regardless of per capita, when you have so many murders in such a small area, that is what breeds a feeling of danger. I would feel much safer living in Jackson than in Baltimore. I’m sure anyone would for that matter because Baltimore is clearly a much more dangerous place to be....

Seattle here. I see a red dot in Redmond - wonder if they got caught leaking info about Windows 12.

Ok there have been two shootings and no fatalities in my area of NE Texas since 2014. I accidentally left my back door unlocked last night. I guess I can stop worrying about that!

Open carry, no murders and no intentions to move to Baltimore or Chicago.

Yep, open carry here too, though most people who carry don't carry weapons openly. No murders. Very low crime rate in general. You never know who is packing.

The cities that seem to be the hardest hit by gun violence is Baltimore and Chicago.

Type in your address and see how gun violence affects your area. This map allows you to pinpoint any city, state or specific address and see shootings within a 1 mile radius of a given address. Very interesting source of information.
there was a mass shooting in my area recently.(Midland and Odessa,Texas)

I wonder what you're trying to say by saying that...

It does not matter who carries but who is willing and able to act.

That's highly subjective when looking into the background of homicides in both cities. Your not involved in crime or personal vendetta then your safety about same

Again, raw numbers will favor Bmore in this subject.
