I'm from Canada so know nothing. The offices are located in:

1) California (near Long Beach)

2) Hawaii (near Honolulu)

3) Georgia (
near Atlanta)

4) Minnesota (
near Minneapolis)

5) Florida (
near Tampa)

I'm just looking to make some friends and not have to own a car. I'll be making about $50k/year just incase anyone was curious in regards to living expenses advice they wanted to give. My job will also give me the opportunity to work remote most of the time, so I can go to the office once every week/two weeks if I wanted.

Thank you guys so much

That salad is gonna be tough in California and probably Minneapolis. I think Minneapolis and Atlanta would have the best public transportation.

Which would you choose? You think Florida is okay in Tampa? Or Atlanta?

On that salary I would go with #4, the most affordable of the cities. Both #1 and #2 would be a severe struggle financially, the restore affordable but of them I would prefer the cooler north climate.

You can't swing CA on that salary and have a life. Two salaries, maybe. I might consider Tampa for a while. Is that $50k after taxes?

Numbers 3, 4 or 5 considering the salary. You can't go wrong in any of those cities.

The car free thing may be an issue though in Tampa. It could actually be an issue in any of them, depending on where the jobs are located.
