Here in west/central NY we are in both the Finger Lakes and Great Lakes regions, and have severe hill terrain for skiing. Tourists are here ALL YEAR ROUND. haha

The Lake of the Ozarks is a typical weekend getaway for St. Louisans and Kansas Citians alike since it's about equidistant from both cities. Float trips with a camping element are also popular here due to all the tributary rivers that are in the area.

The rest of us can be found melting at a biergarten or some other patio during happy hour midweek.
