In the immediate southern regions in this case. Also assuming it could be a working starvation where your job lets you relocate for the winter or you find contract opportunities for the winter .

For a bunch of winters, I telecommuted from my townhouse condo at the ski resort. If I didn't ski and had 3x my net worth, a house in La Jolla would be just fine.

Well given my life as it currently is, we mostly stay home in South FL during the winter.

If I was going to pick any place in the US independent of our current life setup, then San Diego.

It is so individual (for instance, I'd rather stay-cation in the mountains and ski all the time). If I wanted to be warm, I'd pick Phoenix out of those. The hiking in the winter would be fabulous.

What is considered South Florida? When I hear that I think of Miami,Ft. Lauderdale, Fort Myers ect. I’m a fan of Tampa myself, does that fall into that category?
