Southern Indiana is wayyyy too Southern in culture to be associated with Chicago. Indy and north to Chicago are very much like Chicago. But below Indy? It's basically Kentucky.

Southern Illinois is exactly the same way.

Both revolve around big Midwestern cities, but give way to very culturally Southern southern portions, and have lots of farming in between.

O no. CT is screwed up in this set up. One side is NY, another MA, Stamford is called mini Manhattan, New Haven is named mini Boston. The best solution put NY CT MA into one country set up, which is now, everything is fine
