Even though they aren't in a core city, with their population densities (Miami Beach 11,500ppsm, JC 16,700ppsm) they aren't particularly suburban.

Sunny Isles Beach is a suburb of Miami and lies north of Miami Beach.
The skyline currently has 13 towers over 500+ feet and is the second tallest skyline in Florida after Miami.

Honestly, Jersey City isnt a suburban city skyline to me, its more of its own thing. Its pretty much like the capital of NNJ. which is different from NYC
