If this thing lasts or gets even bigger going into the summer.... expect a lot of music festivals to be cancelled.

Welp my wife was going to be working at the World of Happiness Summit in Miami this weekend and it was canceled/postponed yesterday.

I was going to the Asian American Music Conference in San Francisco next weekend and today that was canceled/postponed.

Although to be honest I was a little nervous and conflicted about us attending both of those. We have two little kids at home and elderly grandparents that we see very often, so primarily afraid for them.

Really hope the situation improves...I have conferences in May and July that I'm super excited about.

The State of Maryland has banned all out-of-state business travel by state employees. The school system in the county in which I live has cancelled all out-of-state field trips and is reviewing all in-state field trips on a case-by-case basis.

Tons of schools and universities across the country are ending in person classes for the forseeable future, and moving classes entirely to an online form.

The same with its country cousin, Stagecoach, that immediately follows it. Smart move on the promoters part.

Well... this has escalated quickly.

Echoing ProjectMaximus's sentiments. I had considered attending the Congress for New Urbanism in June, and/or the College World Series. Not holding my breath though.
