The bars I’ve gone to in Boston are honestly usually pizza burgers, nachos, or influenced bar grills....Carribean fusion or seafood bar and grills .

I’ve never come across baked beans lol. I don’t think thats really a thing that exists inBoston like that. Maybe in some tourists spots I haven’t been to. I’ve only ever seen the candy.

I haven't really noticed any regional difference between Texas, Midwest, and California. Bars have pretty standard bar foods- nachos, wings, fries, burgers, pizza. Some might be just open at night and have a limited menu, some are more gasropub style, and some have a full menu during the day and a limited bar menu after a certain time.

I find the food in Boston was very extensive as a result.

In Baltimkre there are many liquor stores that’s are also bar/lounges. The liquor store and lounge are open 7 days a week until 2am. In order for liquor stores to be able to sell in Sunday’s they must have a “lounge”.

They really just serve chips, nuts, slim Jim’s, hot sausages, popcorn and basically just gas station snacks. Some of them will let you bring in food.

The best pizza I ever had was bar style from the Lynwood Spa in Randolph MA. Bar food.

Also one of my favorite bar food restaurants is the Pour House in Boston. I was actually there the same night Rihanna was there for the second night in a row before she went out to party.

Bar food is my favorite food. Il take it anyday over a 5 course meal at an overpriced snobby restaurant.

Ive never seen baked beans on a menu, havent looked il be honest.

But Pizza, Chowder, sandwiches (Chicken Parm Sandwich, Roast Beef Melt, BLT, etc), Fish/Local crap.. or like BornMassMade said.. depending on what area you are in, local cuisine gets infused into it. Near where I live theres an apparent infusion of Caribbean or Italian cuisine.

What I usually order
-Chicken Parmagain Sliders
-Buffalo Wings
-Pizza
-Chowder
-Mac and Cheese Burgers

Depends on what kind of bar. Actual pubs serve the usual pub fare.

But we have many local bars that cook free food once or twice a week, and this being Louisiana, things like jambalaya, pastalaya, red beans, white beans, and gumbo are quite common. Though there are also regularly burgers, hot dogs, spaghetti, and also pulled pork and pot roast.

Staples at nearly every corner tavern in Buffalo

- wings (duh) always claimed to be "the best in town" w/blue cheese, celery and carrots
- fish fry (beer batter or breaded) with fries, home-made cole slaw, and potato salad
- tender hot roast beef fresh thin sliced with horseradish on hard roll or kummelweck roll
- hot sandwiches of all types on bread or rolls
- burgers
- chili

Depending on the neighborhood
- corned beef, kielbasa, panini, steamed clams in the summer, etc.

Hard to tell sometimes between places that are bars with restaurants, or restaurants with bars.

When I was a kid I remember my father and friends having "breakfast" at the bars by putting a raw egg in their beer - I wonder if some people still do that?

It definitely does. Country fried steak and crawfish are not common bar food here in New York, for instance.
