Canada as others said its similar to America and the people seem friendly
Australia looks like a fun country
Indonesia i would love to buy a island and start my own country
Ecuador...beautiful country that offers beaches, mountains, cities, jungles etc. Uses American currency and people in many parts of the country are bi-lingual. Cost of living is cheap and the climate is not too extreme. Plenty to do if you love the outdoors. Great nightlife too.
Argentina...again, beautiful country with a varied topography, slower paced, good food, and much to do.
France...they embrace art, food, and culture. The climate is similar to that of California and it is rich in history. I've been told they have beautiful beaches too.
If I could magically overcome the language barrier...
1. France. I'd live in Paris without a second thought. It's urban, sophisticated, cultured and civilized.
2. Italy. This is possibly the most beautiful place with the most beautiful life on earth.
3. Peru. I LOVE the food.
1. Croatia - Climate/landscape Italy but much more eager to have outsiders support their economy.
2. Holland (Amsterdam) - The nicest big city I've ever seen, and everyone speaks English.
3. Malaysia - For something completely different
