Where is the option for Gays? For some reason, Gay and SF always go together like sugar and kool aid. I think of SF as having one of the most dense, beautiful downtowns of any city in the world.

You're the one drawing conclusions. I never lumped all conservatives together. Please point it out. If I thought that way, I would have no conservative friends. One of my best friends, from Minneapolis, is conservative. We don't see eye-to-eye at all on politics, but she's like a sister to me and I love her to death - always will. She feels the same.

I think the best thing about San Fransisco is the scenery. I do not care for the city itself or the people that live there.

How do you deal with conservative friends? where do you even find them? I've never met one.

Great city, I love the scenery, the energy, and the public transportation. However, I just returned from my 5th visit in as many years, and I noticed the homeless seemed much more agressive, and I didn't feel as safe as I had on previous trips - even in Union Square. I also witnessed a physical fight right on Market Street. Also, the streets of Castro were covered in litter on Memorial Day morning. The other friends I was traveling with were not really impressed with the city. Have things changed, or has my perspective?

They slip away from their wives in suburbia on weekend nights and go to gay bars incognito.

I don't care for San Francisco at all. I've been there 3 times in my life.

It's too crowded, congested and overall just crappy looking. You couldn't pay me to live there.

I love San Francisco. If I could talk my husband into it, I would move there in a heartbeat.

I had a six hour stopover in San Francisco and had a bit of a look around, from what I seen the scenery was great. Looks like a place where I could relocate too.
