When I was in Orlando it was Windermere/Dr. Phillips. In Atlanta, John's Creek. In Albuquerque it was the far NE heights (Tanoan).

In Pittsburgh, most of the richest city neighborhoods are to the east, and most of the richest suburbs are to the north. This goes for both old and new money.

At the country club. And in gated communities in the woods that may not even be in the city limits.

I live in the Burlington metro. The highest salaries are in Essex (Global Foundries mostly), but much of the old money is in Shelburne. My town of Milton specifically is the "cheapest" (lowest socioeconomic status) town in the county. There are trailer parks near the center of town, ten million dollar mansions closer to the lake, and everything in between. Trailers on an eight acre of owned land are going for ~$150-200,000 these days.

In the Washington, DC metro area:

Upper Northwest DC

Great Falls, Virginia

Bethesda, Maryland

Potomac, Maryland

McLean, Virginia

Arlington, Virginia

If you have to ask how much it costs to buy a home there, then you probably can't afford it.

In Atlanta, the real money is in the City in Buckhead, Morningside, Ansley Park & Druid Hills.

In Orlando, the old money is in Winter Park.
