He said white male, Asian female. That's very common.
But you're an Asian man who was dating white women, which like I said is rare because unfortunately no one wants Asian men except for Asian women, and even a lot of Asian women avoid dating Asian men.
It's common but I still think the Hispanic/White mix is more common, maybe because there's more Hispanics in this country?
And I'm an Asian man that has had no challenges dating white women. OF course I'm married now, so moot point.
That's a myth, in reality WMAF gets a lot of hate from some Asian men and some White women in American society. Asian men have entire forums dedicated to discussing the "problems" with WMAF, saying that Asian women who date White men are "bottom of the barrel". I've had White women say to my face that the only reason why White men date Asian women is because those White men are beta and "can't handle a real White woman".
When dating interracially, no matter the interracial couple combo involved, there will always be haters. It's always been this way sadly. If anything, I'm seeing more and more hatred towards WMAF interracial couples recently.
You're describing a less toxic version of the incel mentality. Black women also complain about black men who date white women. But just because there are haters from both sides doesn't mean the couple wasn't accepted by the mainstream society. In this day and age I doubt any combo of interracial couple still get comments, stares or rude service on a regular basis in any city. In the country thing might be different but I think things are changing there too.
I do see fewer Asian females who date mostly white dudes today than a couple of decades ago. Asian guys' stock has risen over the past twenty years so the idea that they can't date normally is becoming out of date.

First, incel/MGTOW thinking is hateful, period.
At the same time, like I said, even a lot of Asian women don't want Asian guys, much less white or black or hispanic women. And Asian guys largely work in male dominated industries. So it's safe to say they have a harder time dating (although sure, tons of people date outside their industry).
Although it's probably mostly because Asian guys are typically shorter. If you're a tall Asian guy (5' 11" or more) you'll probably have no problem getting white girls.

I do agree there are Asian women who refuse to date within their race, but most are second/third generation who say inane things like Asian guys remind them of their brother or something like that. These types still exist but to a lesser extent than twenty years ago, probably due to better AM representation in American pop culture, the rise of China and popularity of K Pop and dramas.

And it's not just an Asian thing, some black men won't date black women.

Yeah, if you go to Kpop concerts in Europe and the US, you see so many Gen Z white girls there. If you search on YouTube there are hundreds if not thousands of Korean male - X female couple channels.
At BTS's four-night sold-out concert at So-Fi stadium in LA, you had a lot of diverse models in the VIP boxes. They're gonna perform four-nights in Vegas this month at Allegiant Stadium. It's not easy for any artist to sell out four consecutive nights at large NFL stadiums.
Well, any city with a big college population is a start. Any city that attracts a lot of people in their 20s and 30s, let's say over 300,000, is another.

Yes but most Asian men are not pop stars. Pop stars of any race are going to find it easier to date than your average Joe.

It's also part of the problem with the males too instead of female perception of them. Immigrant Asian males of the previous generations were nerdier and more focused on academics, or congregated within their own clusters and seemed to have a harder time even if they tried to of fitting into pop culture stereotypes. That has massively changed with second, third generations now coming of age and fitting into North American society much more easily. With Asian-American movie and music stars as well as athletes becoming more commonplace I think these preferences of Asian women only dating outside of their race (read: basically white men) will continue to abate going forward. I really don't think much of it has to do strictly with appearance but more personality and culture.
An Asian woman who seems to be only interested in white men can probably have their preference swayed if an Asian man with a good height, athletic build and success in their career showed up - and they often have the additional attractiveness of being inherently likelier to be closer and more respectful of familial ties.
