I got down to Houma LA at 218, though I may have heard the name but wouldn't be able to find it on a map. I did also pause at Killeen-Temple.

Number 166 Kennewick-Richland, WA MSA, I don’t believe I have ever heard of, however I have definitely heard of the Tri Cities. Just didn’t know them by name.

After that it’s Lake Havasu City-Kingman, AZ MSA at 213.

Can we specify if we're talking about knowing them as a metro are vs knowing they exist in general.

Only ones on the list I've never heard of at all are Anniston-Oxford, AL (116k) and Bloomsburg-Berwick, PA (83k MSA)

There are others where the names ring a bell but I didn't realize were prominent cities within their states, e.g. Gadsden, AL; Hinesville, GA

It's not knowing they exist in general.

Heard of them all, but some I never suspected were Metros'. Like a huge expanse of desert (Douglas AZ) with a few towns whose collective populations grew above some arbitrary number.

It would probably be the Santa Rosa-Petaluma MSA, but I've heard of Sonoma County.

In "Peanuts". Snoopy's brother Spike once tried to compete in the world wrist-wrestling championships, in Petaluma. Remember Spike? He lived in Needles CA

The Peanuts cartoonist, Schulz, as a boy, lived in Needles (the hottest climate in the U.S.) for one year before the family returned to St. Paul MN.
