How would a city be world class in walkability? That one seems like the outlier here. The other categories make sense.

NYC, Paris, and Tokyo have world class walkability. Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta, not so much.

A ridiculous assertion.

Agreed, and patently obvious.

None of the above! First and foremost, I want my city to be world-class in community. Things like civic pride, public service, conscientiousness. If we had world-class architecture (or some other such thing) we've have a bunch of Insta-famous interlopers doing stupid a-- stuff as they treat my city like a commodity instead of a community. Instead, of the things listed, I just want my city to have "good enough" for most of these.

Architecture, attractive people and shopping/retail. Everything on the poll is important but I'm mostly interested in the aesthetics of a place. You can have a city be sprawling and autocentric but as long as it's beautiful to look at I think most people will enjoy their time there.

Business & Finance. A city isn't anything, much less world class, without a solid business/financial sector.
