I work in Seattle, hybrid 2 days a week now, and only one person I have seen in the office today had a mask on. Of the tourists passing by the office there were very few masks. Where I live on the eastside, going to any store you would rarely see a mask now.
Here, in Oklahoma, hospitals and medical clinics seem to be the only places where people are still expected to wear masks. I had a mask handy to put on posted as required on the door before entering a clinic to see if I could get prescribed Paxlovid for having covid. After I entered Walgreen's, I felt like a freak from being the only one wearing a mask. Paxlovid works great as I was feeling much better by the next evening. The drug is supposed to reduce chances of hospitalization by 89%, due to covid, so, hopefully as cases once again continue to go up that it will greatly prove its worth.
In Los Angeles , it's probably higher in 50% but depending on the person. Asian and Latinos tend to wear them more than white and black. I was in downtown LA past week to see the setup security for summit of the America. It was 50/50. Because most of the places and area I live is more Asian and Latino, it feels like 80% + wear it. Even many kids coming out from school wear them going home alone. I go grocery shopping at a Latino supermarket and 80% wear mask but shop at a trader Joe's and Vons. It's less than 50%. Interesting observations. Also within families the father or males doesn't wear mask as often while mothers and children do moreso among latinos in my area.
In Orange County, maybe 10-15% overall. Interesting disparity there. I don't know about Hispanic, but definitely Asians are more likely to wear masks. The highest percentage I see is at the Costco in Irvine, where at least 50% of the clientele is Asian and 25-30% of those are masked.
Some black people here still wear masks. White people pretty much never, unless they have purple or green hair or something like that. I've noticed a lot of correlation in that way.
There are still plenty of people wearing masks in public indoor spaces in NYC as the local authorities have recommended (but not required) it. The only place where it is still required in NYC is on public transit (where it is not enforced so even there not everyone is masked). Also medical centers are requiring people to wear masks when entering (and here it is enforced by the employees).
Currently in Erie, PA it's about 60/40. 60 wearing and 40 not. In the Killeen/Temple, Tx area where I'm from it's more like 40 wearing and 60 not. People don't even have to wear them on public transportation, Greyhound, Amtrak or at airport.

I know you're serious but this post made me cackle. Especially the purple or green hair part, lol!
I obviously don’t know the answer, only to say that areas with certain political views, and a higher concentration of certain ethnicities are probably going to skew higher.
I see a lot of Indians and SE Asians still wearing masks where I live, other than that it’s not at all
The retail workers still wear it (usually). Less than 20% of customers in Raleigh. It’s worse in the outlying towns. I’m trying to think if I saw people with them at the movies last night (which of course skews younger) and I’m not positive I did.
I was in Matthews a few days ago, and I’d say 80% or so of folks wore masks at Harris Teeters.
