I don't have any agenda, just wondering. I'm not sociable, rarely know neighbors. hang with few friends. My ratio is about half.
Wow. This is a really cool question.

Just trying to think offhand-the not overnight requirement helps, but not as much as you think it would, most of them I was legitimately couch surfing in-also, big Q here: does AirBNB count? That would up my count significantly. Also-home. Does apartment or condo count? I’m assuming yes, but correct me if otherwise.

House or Other Unit (18)
-
California (Bro in Law visit + 2nd Cousin drop in)
Florida (Lived here past 13 years lol-many many)
Georgia (Stayed with family for bit near Savannah, friend visits near ATL)
Hawaii (6 months old-does that count lol?)
Idaho (Family Visit Last Summer)
Illinois (Friend’s Wedding in 2012)
Massachusetts (College/21 y/o road trip to Boston)
Michigan (Numerous family visits 00s and 10s friend visit)
Montana (Family Visit Early 00s)
Nebraska (Friend working for Nebraska Athletics)
New Hampshire (Family wedding)
North Carolina (Family cabin in mountains-Family in Charlotte)
Ohio (Lived there 18 years lol-Many)
Pennsylvania (Do dorm rooms count? 90s, Grove City PA)
South Carolina (Family Visit-Charlotte area)
Texas (A family member and friends house in ATX
Virginia (Family Wedding in the 90s NoVA, Visiting Friend in 2010s Lynchburg)
Washington (Cousin living out there near Seattle)
——
AirBNB Only (4)
-
Colorado (Boulder for Colorado v Nebraska football)
Louisiana (Garden District/New Orleans for Higher Ed Conference)
Tennessee (Five Points Neighborhood for Stadium Series)
Vermont (Downtown Burlington/Summer Vaca ‘22)
——

Really cool thought exercise in general. I’ve been to all 50 states and capitals and that’s been true for a while now. This is a different, more personal touch, and an interesting one at that.

North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Oregon, New Mexico, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Missouri, Iowa, and Nevada. 21 in total.

What's interesting about this question is that there are states that I've been to a lot, yet haven't actually stepped into someone's home. New Jersey, Maryland, and Tennessee immediately come to my mind.
