I'm in Ohio and I guess we've got some kind of weather system coming through. 45 degrees, but with wind chill it "feels" like 38. And it might dip below freezing and snow tonight.
I know this is just a fluke of the weather system and things are gonna warm back up in a few days. But this is the kind of weather I wish we had all the time in October. I'm wondering where this is not a fluke. Is there anywhere where, for the past few weeks, it has consistently been in the 40s during midday hours?
I'm willing to settle for low 50s if my only alternative is Alaska. How's the weather where you are?
Yeah Winter 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 it snowed in October and early November (Massachusetts).
2000s. Hmmm. But what about right now? Because I notice some time around the early 2010s the cold weather season started feeling not so cold. Remember 2011-2012?
It's been uncomfortably warm in SF. 50s-60s at night, was 83 this afternoon. My building's heavily insulated and has no A/C, so I've been woken up by the heat several times recently, even with the fan on.
There's been very little of the fog and constant cool that our summers/falls are famous for. I know global warming has only been like 1.7 C overall but I definitely feel like it's contributing --- maybe some places are seeing big changes and others are seeing no changes.

According to my 3rd edition of Weather America, the average October high for Wooster is 61.3, the average low is 40.7. I can look up other Ohio cities upon request, since the OP does not say where in Ohio they live.
