I'm partial to the Maine, Wisconsin, and New Mexico guys.

The Nevada guy isn't the most physically attractive but I love his (and the woman's) vaguely crazy aura, especially with the desert backdrop.

So the typical NJ male looks like he drives a NYC cab and/or owns a Halal truck. Interesting. AI is definitely not a perfect solution, no matter how you slice it.

Ridiculous. These images might make a fun click-bait-y BuzzFeed article, but they're not based on any kind of real data. What Midjourney is doing is compiling source material based on keywords it's given.

So if someone feeds it "Iowans", you're going to get a farmer in overalls and a frumpy housewife because that's the kind of material you'll find on the internet. Sorry, but not accurate. None of these are.

If these images were truly based on actual averages, most people from most states would be ethnically mixed, to varying degrees.

I thought the same thing, lol. Add about 20-50 pounds to each person.

Some of those seem random and quite a bit off (South Dakota in particular threw me).

My home state is spot on.

As someone who's lived most of their life in rural Iowa, I thought that was relatively accurate.

It wouldn't be accurate for Des Moines or Cedar Rapids of course.
