Agree, while Austin is growing fast DFW and Houston’s explosive growth continues with no signs of slowing. They are clearly on a different tier than Austin as well.
Maybe Hartford, Bridgeport, and New Haven can be considered a formidable triumvirate of similar sized metros for Connecticut, of course with Hartford as the pack leader.
I guess the same is being said for Greenville, Charleston, and Columbia in South Carolina and considering that all 3 are growing at a healthy clip. South Carolina will soon have three (3) million+ metros and it appears they’ll cross that threshold relatively close together in the race.
