We're classy in Seattle. It's mostly jeans. (Good for the office, nights out, days off, boating...)

I'm generalizing of course. Slacks are common in offices too (aka khakis). And lawyers sometimes wear suits.

That's ludicrous.

Well he is exaggerating here about Chicago as I was told at one time sweatpants was very common in Chicago but started becoming less of trend there. Well may be it is becoming more a trend now in Chicago now base on what he wrote.

I would be very shock if Detroit or Cleveland did not makes the list as sweatpants seem very popular in the north east part of the US.

Tbf adidas tracksuits and sweatpants were a fashion trend of 2014-2020+, every city had people wearing them. Esp the fitted ones.

It was giving middle class and athletic attractiveness.

Never saw a lot of tracksuits in Seattle. That seems like a far east working class kind of thing. I'm trying not to say "mafia movies."

yeah well I'm in NJ and in the winter I wear sweatpants and sweatshirts at home and when food shopping in the winter. They are easy to clean and wear.

I've noticed more athleisure wear at all hours of the day. Alo Yoga, Lululemon, Vuori, etc. I am not a fan of it (except to the gym), but definitely a trend, mostly for early 30s and under.
