Does any one have any information on Green Card holders (i.e. Permanent Residents) working and living in Virgin Islands? U.S. Immigration law requires that a green card holder must NEVER abandon the INTENTION of continuing to reside permanently in the United States. Does living in Virgin Islands count as continuing to reside permanently in the United Sates in order to maintain Green Card status, and remain the continuity of residence in the U.S. for purposes of naturalization?
