Hi Everyone,

My partner and I are looking for a small city/town that is gay friendly ( in a state that has rights would be great but not necessary. ) A place that has a more laid back feel to it. Preferably no more than $ 250k for a house, would like to be able to grow a small garden, dont need a big lot. And with a decent job market. PNW would be first choice, but open to anywhere. Does a place like this exist, or am i just dreaming Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thats a rather hard request, I can think of some in places that don't have rights.

Consider these:

Algoma or Sturgeon Bay, Wisocnsin
More Liberal Touristy area with cheaper houses, big yards very clean. Plenty of Jobs in Sturgeon or Green Bay.

Eugene/Springfield, Oregon
You said PNW so this area might fit you but it is rather large though.

Nothing else comes to mind right now.

Most small towns on the north coast of Oregon would probably fit that criteria pretty well. Or small communities west and northwest of Portland.

I was thinking more along the lines of Newport/Lincoln City or Astoria.

And the others not on the coast... Maybe St. Helens or Forest Grove?

Iowa City is very affordable, walkable, and extremely gay friendly.
