They had a cook off of BBQ between IL and AL on the Today Show last week.

Big Bob Gibbson from Decatur AL won with the chicken and white bbq sauce. They have won several cook offs. The white sauce is sooo good with the chicken. I like it on pulled pork but not ribs.

I've heard of Alabama's white sauce but have never tried it. It sounds gross to me, but I'm sure it's good because it gets high praises!

Western Kentucky mutton BBQ is very rare to find but very good! That might well be my favorite, but making it is a dying art.

You can get it at Bootleg BBQ in Louisville and Shepherdsville.
