Is history on McCain's side? Starting with 1964, all presidents who have been elected have been from a state which is south of America's center, which I would put at somewhere in Kansas, even if you don't include Alaska.
Since 1960, the elected presidents have been from Texas, Southern California, Georgia, Southern California, Texas, Arkansas, and Texas. Jerry Ford was from Michigan, but he was never elected. If Hillary had gotten the nomination, there might have been a lively debate about whether she is from New York, Illinois, Washington DC, or Arkansas.
Anyone have any ideas about why we have this anomaly? It can't be just coincidence.
I don't know....I only know that I am totally unexcited over this election...ugh
