Actually, Los Angeles is far more blue collar than Chicago. Only 28% of Los Angelenos hold a bachlors degree and the median income in the Chicago metro is much higher than Los Angeles.

89408 New York (CSA) $49,869 (2nd place)

89288 Houston- (CSA) $42,793 (10th place)

89176 Chicago- (CSA) $41,282 (14th place)

89348 Los Angeles (CSA) $37,306 (30th place)

Pathetic. Out of our largest cities (NYC, Chicago, Houston), Los Angeles is by far the most blue collar.

You fail. Try again.

PS. How is bragging about celebrities (who don't give a **** about you) better than bragging about sausage and pizza?

Awww. The widdle fella thinks we give a rip about LA.

It's a pretty city in spots. Nice weather.

Shame about some of the people, though...

Shhhhhh, now, now, now.... we dont wanna make the L.A. lover angry, because he'll throw down his latte in a fit of anger (and maybe even splash a little on his Prada shirt), and potentially break a delicate nail while responding in a fit of anger on his lil Blackberry. Then he'll jump in his VW Cabriolet and drive like a maniac on the shoulder of the road to avoid the non-moving freeway traffic, while pounding on his steering wheel and talking maniacally to himself, drowning out Lindsay Lohan's new song on the radio. Annnnnnnd then the girls at the salon will have to hear crying and moaning about how and why its possible that people actually dont like L.A. (while they perform a fresh, delicate manicure on the heartbroken kid).

Poor girls, I can only imagine what they'd have to suffer through...

NYC is grittier IMO.

Uptown, Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens have areas that consists of old, decaying tenement buildings that tower over you that run for miles and miles, graffiti everywhere, shady people, trash on the floor, dark streets boarded windows etc

A city of 8,000,000 will always be grittier than a city of 2,000,000.

Chicago looks pretty clean from what I can gather in pictures.
